morning walking path

This is one section of the circle road I walk in early morning --- There are some VERY BIG rocks for me to stumble over.

  1. Hi, Vicky, that's BEAUTIFUL page! Love the shades of greens, and shadows, gorgeous!

  2. Thank you, Jana! I was practicing using a limited palette -- perylene maroon, quinacridone gold, and indanthrone blue. The rock road's color was a real chalenge but the greens were fun.

  3. That sounds! Those colors! I have found them in google, they are very nice. I have never tried using limited palette. Thanks for the tip! Those greens are really gorgeous!

  4. The best thing for greens is quinacridone gold made by Daniel Smith (PO49 pigment). Other brands of the same name are not the same pigment. Mix this one with nearly any blue and the green is realistic!
