two pill-box palettes

Recently I posted about choosing a 5-color limited palette to fill this 6-compartment plastic pill box. Using a watercolor postcard, I painted a color chart to get familiar with how the pigments work together --- several of the colors are leftover paints I do not use regularly. The colors are listed on the card; click on photo to enlarge. I combined 2 colors each in the red and brown compartments.

The smaller box holds 5 half-pans in the 5 colors I originally decided on: quinacridone red, quin. gold, cerulean, ultramarine, and burnt umber. This tiny box stays in my purse for sketching "emergencies".
